Cherry Hill Free Clinic

Our Team

Barbara Schwartz

After a successful career in Human Resources across both public and private sectors, Barbara’s passion for serving her Community inspired her to transition into philanthropy and support nonprofit causes.

For the past four years, she has volunteered in various roles at the Cherry Hill Free Clinic (CHFC) and currently serves as the School Donor Relations Manager at UrbanPromise Ministries in Camden.

In these roles she focuses on promoting equal access to quality healthcare and education for all.  Additionally, serving as a first responder for Domestic Violence in Burlington County for over 10 years, Barb supports and advocates for victims that face adversity in our neighborhoods.

Barb’s commitment to making a meaningful impact extends to her involvement with Impact100 South Jersey, a women’s giving collective supporting local SJ nonprofits since 2019.

Currently Barb volunteers as a Registrar, grant writer, and fund raiser at the Clinic.

She believes that genuine leadership involves empowering others, nurturing a collaborative environment, and making a meaningful difference.

Barb is grateful for the opportunity to be on the Board of the Clinic and is eager to see how she can add perspective from her work in these volunteer roles and contribute to the Clinic’s overall growth and achievement of its vision – quality healthcare for all.

Barb obtained her BS degree at Temple University and majored in Sociology.

She lives with her husband Elliot in Moorestown, NJ and has two children, Jaime and Eric. She enjoys traveling and loves to sing. Currently she is in the NoName Pops Chorus in Philadelphia, formerly the Philly Pops Festival Chorus.
